what the hell is this.....method

went out today for a sort session , did the old routine couple of rods on the deck and one on the float
when reeling one of my deads back I caught hold of this on the way back
the lure consisted of a rubber fish type , but no wire trace was attached just mono and a single hook attached with mono to the nose and a swan shot , good job a pike never took it , what are they thinking about......[img]

That is a banjo minnow rig I do believe. It was a popular lure in the early 90's here in the states, but it was more TV hype then a producer.

Looks like it'd been in the water a while but you have to suspect some poaching going on.
