New season

Here we go again new season starting. I do have some medical issues to get through so my pike fishing maybe a bit of hit and miss. I hope you all had a great summer. I did a bit of catfish fishing and a some Barbel/Chub fishing.
This is a picture of a PB catfish at 37lb.

I've managed a couple of days light fishing for silvers and Perch while I've been really bad with my back but after having a Epidural injection into my vertebrae its feeling much better still painful but bearable

So I might just get some piking in this season
Don't think I fancy fighting a 30 yet though

I had my first trip out Saturday and my first pike was a 18 pounder that's a good start to the season. Sorry no picture

My mate and I was out again Monday we had 7 Jack's. It was nice meeting up again as we have not fished together for over twelve months.

That's a good start to the season.

I was out yesterday I had one small Jack. Unfortunately this will be my last trip this year but I hope to be back fit and well in the new year.

Hi all. I have not posted for a long time as I have been very poorly. But I hope to get back on the bank in the near future.
In between operation I did have one day river fishing unfortunately I banked. Not that I think I am missing much with the weather
being so bad. So I hope to post something soon hopefully holding a fish.

I know this isn't a big fish but its a significant fish. Its first one I have caught since I got the all clear from cancer and the first fish
of 2024.
A week later I had one at 13lb but didn't get a picture. Hope to get another trip in before the end of the season. Then I will start
Catfish fishing in May.
