pike striking fish pic
check it out on gallery,shows a kingfisher in flight an also a pike striking at fish out of water.recomend that picture.was a very good shot

You're right Nick, it's a fantastic shot. Total fluke but what a great one. Both Kingfisher and pike are clear and in the centre of the frame. Well done to Brian MacFarlane for capturing it.

Amazing foto showing nature at work.
Total fluke to get both in the same pic and so clear and detailed.
He ought to get one of those wildlife photography trophies for that.

It wasn't me Adie
I don't have the patience to sit behind a camera for hours on end hoping for a kingfisher and a pike to appear exactly in my line of vision...at the same moment...
The more I think about it the more amazing it seems..

Ive had a go, never managed a Kingfisher, i did get an early Badger & Fox from a Jamie Wood Hide last Summer. 6am in a wood....
Perhaps Adie spotted MacFarlane & mistook it for our Andy off here..?
