anybody out this weekend on the pike

after last weekend loseing that good fish might just have another go i have started i bit earlier this year......

Night pike session on Friday and then maybe a trip to the coast on saturday for a spot of sea fishing

have you had any results on night fishing for pike steve

a friend I was helping had one on a lure at about 3am 2 weeks ago a little 4lb'er

Sadly I did not make my night session tonight so I am heading out to the coast to do a spot of sea fishing tomorrow hopefully

fishing with a couple of mates on sat the first bait fishing ive done in a while one lad lost a decent pike snapped he was a bit gutted to say the least

two hours later one of the others gets a run a good fish again is played landed at 22 something low and behold the other trace was there ive never seen someone who lost a 20 look so happy

suprisingly a poor session, only had 2 jacks on lives and that was it......

sometimes they they just wont have it mate no matter wot you do been there on many accassion and its not that your doing anything wrong........

might be going for a little spinning session on the 40ft near me saturday with the misses and the dog...

Maybe not this weekend but Gavin has got a fortnight off work so hopefully should be able to get a few sessions in.

gonna chuck some stinky fish paste in friday night....

hopefully off for a warm up session on sat proir to the cellars fish-in down my local drain. wanna test out some new rig bits and get my braid bedded in etc after respooling this morning.

Off to have a look at a new water tomorrow that a friend has taken on as a fishery after his sucess with a carp water in n.yorks...he has said there are known to be pike in there so i'm packing a lure rod to hopefully tempt a couple out
