new member

hi every1 im a new member and also new to pike fishing, so any tips would be great. I have only been out for pike once as a few of us went to the lakes at the weekend, we stayed in a cabbin next to a lake full of good sized pike. As i have only fished for trout the only thing i could think to try was a lure, to cut a long story short me and me pal had a 11 lber each. Which I was over the moon with as it was my first time and a PB for me, so thats me hooked.
Im live near durham and dont no of anywhere near me where I can fish for pike, so if anyone has heard of anywhere please let me no.
