guess the weight (again)

well its another fish to weigh! not as big as dougs whale but its my biggest one, it was my second ever pike and i pooped myself a bit when reeling it in because i thought it was massive but when i went to get the scales to weigh it id left them in another bag so i have never really known what weight it was soooo what do you guys reckon?

i would say around 10 to 11lbs mate

Looks like an empty belly and a big head Nice fish though, 12lb maybe.

A nice double Always hard to tell in a photo but i'd say about 11-12 too

cool well that clears that up il go in middle and call it 11lb round that area, ye it did have big old head on it thats what made me get all nervous when it got close it opened its mouth up and started trying to shake the hooks it was my second pike and no one was there to help me apart from my mate and he didnt even know what a pike was
we both were like little scared girls

im honestly not iv always wondered what that was.............but iv got one more day free before im working which will be tmw so im heading out il send you a picture if i catch im catching on all the tactics that you told me so its just matter of time before you put me to shame with some mammoth from the prehistoric years

I used to drive the blokes mad at the riverbank when i was a lad asking questions all the time..................it did help a lot though. Your always learning mate.

ye i do feel a bit annoying sometimes my dad used to pike fish but not for long so he knows about the same as me and every other fisherman i know dont like pike!!! which is madness!!

You want to do what i do when i want to wind up a match / coarse fisherman. Wait till you see them land a big Roach or the like, then wander over and ask if you can use it for livebait !!

Its hilarious watching their faces as they go red with anger !! SUPERB !!
