Re: sink & draw , wobblin rod
You managed to cut the tip, move the spigots, cut from the butt section and probably have to re-whip some or all of the eyes to get the exact length you wanted and still retain the same test curve? That's more time, effort and alterations than I, most anglers or even mathematicians would want to enter into for the sake of a wobbling rod.
Besides, that doesn't alter a single thing I said. Seems not all of are quite as awake as we think we are.

Re: sink & draw , wobblin rod
No Andy the rod got damaged, so i set about trying to salvage a favourate rod from the bin.
Once i began i decided then to make it shorter at all points, the outcome was a 2lb TC rod at 9' 9" because i like the initial action of the rod.
i wanted to keep that same feel.
calculations came into play after i had started chopping.
rings had to be moved/removed to get the correct line flow from butt to tip.

There we go. That was an easy enough answer. It was a little kinder and simpler to digest than...

You don't think this sounds just a little condescending?
If I didn't see the funny side of your post then forgive me for being judgemental. That's just how it came across. If I read too much into it then I'm sorry. I thought your next post was much nicer and straightforward. That's all.
