I'd like to break into the 20's whether it be a river or still water.
And using lures, I want a big perch, a chub and a double figure pike.

No serious targets for me this season, just to enjoy my fishing. But a Trent 20 would be nice

Not too far off last season with an 18 and half pound Trent beauty and a few around the 17lb mark.

just seen this lads, up where i keep the boat. there are a few of the men that made there own fishing club. its been running 10yrs now and thay have trout and perch comps. the wife and i joined the club this year.
trout comp last week, a few fish were landed by other boats. i got none...... the wife got a 2lb brownie and won first place. it took the smile of a few faces, but not mine loved every minute . she got a bottle of malt whiskie and the trophy

Re: trgets for this season
well..... my main target this season is going to be one specific individual that i hooked and lost last january..... i had her on for 3 mins or so and it was like hooking onto a brick wall and trying to bend my 2 3/4lb tc rod to the maximum curve it would possibly take.
i couldnt budge her an inch as she just kited to my right, this was followed by a few VERY large headshakes before everything went slack.
i've had fish to 37lb and managed to move every single one of them towards me with the kind of pressure i was putting on the rod, so only time will tell if i find out just how big she is.
apart from that... a river 20 would be nice!!!

Re: trgets for this season
I also hope you catch it Rob. A realistic target for me is to catch a twenty, haven't had one for ages so I'd be delighted with that.
Good luck everyone
