anybody catching

now the festivities and the tukeys nearly gone anybody going out fishing over the christmas break....

yeah mate , Thursday, Friday can't wait, its been a while since I've wet a line.very mild so hope their up for it.

ive been out this morning and had 2 jacks and a double of 15-10 im back out for next 3 days too

Out tomorrow, been out for 2 days before xmas, wet,and windy, and no fish, so fingers crossed for tomorrow, forecast is good, dry, low cloud, {thats good weather for the beacons).

ive been out all day and didnt even get a sniff !! bait fish jumping everywhere. thought i was gonna be in for a good day , but alas !!

Out for the day tomorrow to hunt the girls in the drains with both deads and lures hoping the slightly milder weather will help with the lures I got for xmas.

I was out yesterday had two jacks and one 12.5 lb. Thats my last outing this year. I have my mother coming up for new year.

Well another blank. Weather was a howler, wet&windy . thats the beacons for you, test you to the max, but i'l return to catch'em..

out today but weather not looking good strong winds forcast but we will give it a go

been out today me and catchey fishishey 123 there are three words to describe our day out on the boat ......her...ren...dous... it was pants it was that windy the boat was catching the floats up could not hold anchour never had a sniff between us the only good thing i tried out the new elec engine it was the dogs cant wait for a better day a calmer day ... but hay ..ho

Tough going today on the lures but we managed two between us...not massive but warmed our day up no end , will be back out tomorrow with the deadbait gear if i can sneak past the better half

I went fishing on wednesday caught a 2lb jack in the morning on jell bait and caught late afternoon on mackerel deadbait.

went today and had a 7lb on mackerel deadbait early morning just before 1st light hopefully more look tomorrow.

I went today and caught nowt I did however have something snap at my deadbait as I was reeling it in, all I got was teethmarks.
That said I did find out a bit more info on the venue and I know that my homemade drifter floats work so at least it wasnt a total loss.

should have tried a rubber mate when i see the fish scattering i always reach for the spinning rod cast into the confusion........

rubbers are banned on my water Stubbo. I could of tried sink and draw as i dont carry Lures, but they were scattering a long way out and wouldnt have reached them.

thats where the drifter would have been handy but you do need the wind on your back doug

i havnt heard of a wobbling bar S6 Piker, where would i find one please ?

Stubbo, i actually bought a Drifter today, but as you rightly say. only good if the wind behind you. perhaps i should of used a BAIT BOAT !!

been out today but first had to go and look at bathrooms with the missus on the way there, buy the way the missus didnt know we were going fishing after.I suggested that we take the dog round a lake at sandyway he would love that she said so will i ......i said anyway had a spinning rod in the back while the other half walked the dog round tthe lake i was casting a shad about....only did about a hour but manage a little scrapper about 3lb ish dog enjoyed it to..............the walk not the fish
