Personal Pike Angling Highlight of 2009
What has been your personal pike angling highlight of 2009?
Mine was catching a seventeen pounder on a Salmo Slider back in March. It was the last cast of the evening, darkness had fallen, plus I never expected such a fish from this particular venue as no one else had or is fishing it. Plus it is a personal best lure caught pike.

Mine was on Sunday 13th December 09, i fished a pairs match with Kell, we caught 900 lbs of Pike between us, Kell had to pack in early through repetative strain injury due to landing so many Pike.

Mine would be witnessing a friend catch a pb of 29lb 3oz from a completely unexpected venue. It was a heck of a fish to witness being landed and one which has spurred me on to try fishing waters that i would possibly have passed off without a second thought last year.

Your right Nick mate. This is the view from the West Wing of Chumley Towers. As you can see, the groundskeeper has been neglecting his duties.
Gimmie a PM to sort out a visit lads. River is running fast as hell and like tea at the minute though.
