Rod & reel are ok Not the best but ok Very Happy
As for the Accessories !!

The box looks rubbish to me ' not sure the line is much good ' the pike rigs I wouldn't touch ' same with the spinning traces ( shop rigs & traces are never long enough for my liking ) the forceps are no good at all for piking 'floats are ok '
Not sure about the Pike Drop Off Stainless Indicator as i've not seen one !

If i was you i would avoid these pike set ups and just buy a good rod & reel then buy the accessories separately Wink Very Happy

They're the pliers that I've got.

I don't normally crimp my pike rigs so only use them for crimping my light spinning traces (for targeting perch etc..). They have 5 'serrations' to each of the jaws so give (obviously!) 5 indentations along the crimp. Also they don't fully close (tiny gap when clamped up tight) so in theory won't damage the wire.

I always give my trace a good solid yank to make sure they don't give way after I've made them and so far every one made up with these has held solidly. Very Happy

I can recommend the pliers but can't really comment on the rest of the stuff.

I only own 2 items of PredX gear, those being the pliers and a rubber coated lure net. No problems with either and if all their gear is of equal quality you should be ok.

If you are in any doubt about the swivels and links when it arrives I wouldn't be too disheartened as it does seem a decent price. Getting quality replacements for those shouldn't be too expensive.

Doesn't seem a bad price that mrmakk.

Obviously you neeed to grab hold of one and chuck it about to see it's ok before spending your hard earned dosh.

I know a few people with Wychwood gear, and they're are happy with it. I myself have a Wychwood freespool reel and will hopefully be upgrading my rod before too long to a Wychwood.
