none of those relate to scotland though were using live vertabrates for bait is now illegal

one set of byelaws in the uk ban it (cumbria) others such as local authorities clubs etc may ban it

I get it now..........Backbone.... so that means All fish are not to be as a livebait>?

yup same with frogs etc anything with a backbone is illegal in scotland

as for the cumbrian ban you need to read the byelaws as they only apply to certain species and certain venues

absolute minfield this is noodle.bye laws vaired across 3 counties in our area.we didn't know our *** from our elbow at one time.

so please check all bye-laws before using any bait really mrmak
