has any body used a greys prowla heavy jerkbait rod
what are your thoughts on this rod i know greys gear is quality but what do u reckon to it after my last few outings with woody im needing a heavya setup to get the jerks out its adictive is this lol

alright craig, it depends on the weight of the lures u intend to chuck about, but i LOVED using the greys supa jerk designed for chucking the really big heavy lures i tend to use these days (100g +).
i dont own one but used a friends for a couple of sessions and now have one on my wishlist at harris sportmail along with a abu revo multiplier.
i the heavy jerk is anywhere near the quality and performance of the supa jerk, which i am sure it will be being a greys, and its gonna be suitable dor your lure sizes then u cant go wrong mate.

they look good patch. i am also a huge daiwa fan and always had daiwa rods before i was introduced to greys stuff. never used these particular rods tho TBH.

the daiwa whisker is about as good as a mass produced rod gets for me
i use nash and shimano rods for jerks and have borrowed the daiwa and it really is good
no comment on the greys from me never used them and certainly have no desire to do so
