Re: chew valley help
A freind of mine has been lucky enough to fish it 3 times in the past 2 years and he has had a couple of upper 20's, both on slow trolled fox replicants in Perch pattern.
I couldn't tell you what areas off the top of my head TBH.
As for the bank fishing he's had no success.
Not much info but might help a bit.

THE IMAGE I CANNOT HELP YOU WITH ANDY BUT I THINK I MAY HAVE NIGHTMARES LOL
thanks tootall apparently you can only troll if you use your own electric motor so we need to look into that because you can cover a lot more water i suppose but never done it.
i love perch patterns so will look for some i was suprised that it is 4" and over thought it would be 6" and above.
Is there a differance in trolling lures and will one of my rods do.
we did have two applications in but i suppose we are lucky to get one back with two days together.

Re: chew valley help
Didn't realise the motor rule - but my mate has a fully kitted out 14 footer.
I'm not an experienced troller so wouldn't want to offer advice on rods/methods etc TBH as it may be wrong matey...

Best use the electric motor to troll only when you're going against the current to save on power and rowing of course. When you drift back down the water naturally, turn the engine off and float a couple of baits behind you. You can steer then with the oars.
