My pb edible fish (not Shark or Ray) = 88Lbs/40Kg's Cob.................sadly not an ounce of Pike yet!!!

its a bit blurry cos its a photo of 2 photos (the only way to get them on here was to take a pic with my phone camera)..... both are the same fish caught a year apart in march '95 and march '96.
first time was 35lb 15oz then i caught her a year later at 37lb 3oz

If that's a 38 I'll give up pike fishing. It's a 30+ certainly but a 38??? No chance. Look at some of the 40s that have been caught by the likes of Alan Mcfadyen and the piking dodgemeister Nige Williams. It's nonsense. That's never a 38lber.

not necessarily andy..... do we know how big the guy is thats holding it?? that may affect the apparent size of the fish rather dramatically
