Daiwa Black Widow Rods 2.75 / 3.25 TC
Got one of these in exchange for some other bits and bobs i had kicking about and i have to say that i think it's a wonderful rod. It's marketed as a carp rod but I heard a few pikers raving about them as they have a really forgiving tippy action, with plenty of mid-to-butt power when needed for casting / playing bigger fish etc, so well suited to pike fishing.
The blank is lovely and slim with an excellent reel seat. Like I heard someone else say in a review, they would have happily have paid £100 for this rod as the quality and action is so good, but it retails at only about £35.
I like it so much i'm actually thinking of selling my greys prodigy rods and getting 3 of these instead and have some extra cash to spend on other stuff...
Here's a link if you want to see more.

Just as an update, I decided to purchase 2 more of these in a heavier test curve - 3.25lb - for my general deadbaiting work. Smashing rods for the money and really look the part too
