it would be a toss up between Hugh fernlywhitingstall or Jordan, thinking about it Jordan wins by a couple of points, Hugh may well eat the fish whereas Jordan might well eat me

After watching his talk at the PAC conferance last October it would have to be Graham Slater. Graham was humourous, and down to earth and he's caught a load of fish. I couldn't fail to learn from Graham.

Chris Tarrant was in Tiswas, not the Goodies, who were Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie and the tune went,
"Goodies!! goodie-goodie-yum-yum!!"

Re: which well known/famous person would you like to fish with?
Talk of Chris Tarrant reminds me of the time I was almost a TV star.
The National Lottery had a show called "Winning Lines", hosted by Philip Schofield. Me and 48 others were sat in freezing cold warehouse with a number in front of us and the 6 that answered a question correctly progressed to the second round. I was foolish enough to answer a question. In round two Philip chatted to us to get a story and then, the cameras rolled and the recording began. I was first in the line up so I got the first chat with the host where he lead me into it by asking about my interesting story. My reply began with...................
That's right Chris........
I didn't get any further in the competition. Those that saw it say that for the rest of the show I was whiter than
I'm still waiting for my appearance on one of those blooper programmes.
Regards

Re: which well known/famous person would you like to fish with?
for me it would be Dr Barry Rickard's who it seems has been writing about pike and fishing for them since god was a lad and derrick amies not a lot of today's anglers would know this guy but he was a prodigy of the late great derrick pye and to my knowledge the only angler in this country to land 2 x 40lb pike so he must of learnt something from the old guy
it good to be back
