anyone itching to get started on the pike
sorting out my gear ready for the off new lures ,new lines etc
just bought the new savage gear folding landing net hope to put some big mothers in it this year

Yes I can't wait to start pike fishing again am off down to the river Severn tomorrow which may be my last Barbel fishing

getting the itch now ,,there was a hint of frost this morning got a freezer full of fresh mackerel , sandeels., garfish and herring caught of anglesea wales just need the time now.........of work.....

anyway with one thing and another not getting time to spend on the bigger places ive taken a different approach of lightweight multi use speedy mobile for canals round here so if you see a chap in camo (it seems wrong typing that ) flying past on a pushbike with pike rods strapped to him

i average 19mph pedalling on the flat ill loose a bit with the extra weight and drag of that lot though
the rods and pod storage took me a coupleof hours to bodge from no idea to done
