Re: Six days fishing from Feb 14th.
The technology is working, this is the 19lbs 8ozer, caught on the very last cast of the day, she fought like a tiger and saved us from our first blank.
Heres Tootalls fish, it was a great day and Tootall worked hard to catch a fish, he caught this one on a lure and lost another on the next cast, great day Rob, we will do it again soon

Ady, it was a great week, Sithees breakfasts were excellent and we did get some decent fish, we spent some time on the bank and as you know it can be a waiting game. We blanked only on one day, which was good. We left my house most mornings before 6.00am and were not back untill 5.30ish, didnt get up to see Patch which was unfortunate but it was a fantastic week, we met up with Tootall, saw lots of wildlife and had an excellent week, I will be doing it again next year. For the record the bridge you saw through the van door is the swim you know

Are you renting Sithee out by the way
We could do with him at the next fish-in to keep us all fed and watered
Shame you didn't get over to join Patch But it would have been a long trip for you mate Would you have had any time left for fishing LOL
And i thought i know that bridge lol just remind me again where it was

Well done Steve, some cracking fish there!
You must have access to some good venues, I've been fishing since last October and haven't caught a 'double' yet!

Nightwatchman, thank you, the venues we fished are all free waters, some of them are well known and others not so. All of them are max one hours drive from my home, I only know them because i have been shown them by others and although we dont go public its good to share these venues with trustworthy guys such as Tootall, people that appreciate good waters and we know will not misplace this trust. We had a great week, and yes we were lucky, lets hope the next fish in on the 7th March turns up some fish

I've been putting the feelers out and if local chat is to be believed they have been coming out - but not to any great size from what i can gather. There are some biggies in there but i hear the biggest out in last few weeks was around 15lb. Quite a few in the upper singles though.
Anyhow - fingers crossed for a couple of weeks of slightly warmer weather and no more snow!
