Anyone fished Gailey recently, 2011/2012
Just wandering if anyones fished Gailey and can point me in the right direction?
Never fished a large open water (please help)

welcome to the forum. The thing to do with big venues is to keep your equipment to a minimum and be as mobile as you can. Fish a spot for an hour then if you dont catch move and try again for an hour. Do as much homework as you can on the venue, google it get an aerial picture etc and then plan where to start. If its windy dont forget that a drifted bait will cover a lot of area.
ps: drop into the new members bit and announce yourself.

Gailey got a slating, think i might try somewhere else, unless somebody has fished it recently and its changed.

Its been taken over as far as the fishing is concerned.not sure who"s got it but not available on day ticket anymore.

for some reason my posts have been removed from that thread.
peewee take your rods and chuck them in a local river you have more chance of catching than gailey. its a dump with trout with broken backs swimming about so if there were any pike left they would have munched them ?
They should have been done under trade discriptions act ?

wont waste any diesal on that place.
Anyone know what Rudyard lake is like, just lookin for water when river is chocolate and two metres over normal level?
