Anyone been the fens recently

Ive fished the fens for 20 years now with a pb of 22.8 but not had chance to get up there yet this year, So wondering if any one has tackled the drains recently.

A couple of friends hit it last weekend on the 20ft but only resulted in 1 pike at 6.5lbs (but not a blank).

I will be heading up there in the next couple of weeks so any ideas or pm any secret areas (please)

I fished Boston for 20 odd years,
South Forty foot, Kelsy, Hobbo, West fen ect,
Me and Jacquie last went there about 3 years ago,
Fished for 3 days 72 hrs had 3 jack pike between us,
Got talking to a local angler he told us that the foreigners where
netting the bridges and selling the pike for cigarettes on boston market,
So not been down there since.

That's disgraceful!
Though i haven't fished for years, I'm in touch with a few anglers & keep hearing how Poles, Romanians etc.. are catching Carp etc.. by fair means or foul & eating or selling them. They sound to get off lightly. Its not acceptable over here to do this & they need catching & to be severely dealt with
