well done bud, my next session will be after big bream

went out for an overnighter on Lomond and managed a few small jacks and 1 at 10lb 6oz and my mate also had a few jacks and 1 at 18lb 8oz which was on my rod when i was collecting fire wood     .

Turns out my 10lber from last posts a repeat capture from last year at pretty much the exact same spot 😃😃

I think most would agree , pikier weather as arrived for the last week or so, so I headed back down to the Trent. Got there at 6.30 and for once I landed on them 😀! By 8am I had caught 2 low doubles , pulled out of a decent fish and missed a screamer. By 10 am I had caught 4 and missed 3 , I had another one as well, most of them were in a 6 foot area in a bay probably 100 yards long and 20 yards wide. Finished up with 5 , all doubles between 11 and 14 pound . I just love it when the sessions happen like that , especially when you've blanked loads of times in the same areas. Makes it well worth it

I was out Tuesday on a lake I have not fished for years I had three biggest 9.10lb. Hoping to go to Scotland Sunday for
three days I will be resuming my quest for a thirty.

Did a night session on Tuesday into Wednesday morning , ( sometimes you have just got to get out there when you can 😀) I arrived at 6pm , I had a 7 pounder on sardine ( £2.60 for 26 of them, same deal as mba 👍) that I was literally dangling in the edge in a foot of water around 7 pm. I had my next one at 8.30 just into dark, followed by a low double at 1.45 am , my alarms then went off at 4 am , still pitch black and I landed a lean 12 pounder. By pike o'clock (dawn) I added 2 more , no big uns though , then a couple more mid morning.
I caught 2 on mack heads , 1 on mack tail , 2 on sardine , 1 on roach , 1 on smelt and ended up with a greedy half pound perch on a roach live bait !
Good little session , there are some 20s there ....... But don't pick me on your list , 20s and me don't meet up that often😒, although my son did have one last week 😀

Thats some session   well done Craig.  I had my first day out trolling yesterday and took my mate and his son along for a ride.  Second fish was a 21lb 12oz beauty.  I hope the season keeps up that kind of average lol.  A 12 and 4 jacks made an appearance as well so a great start all round .
