Which line?
Well it's been 2 years since I last pike fished and I'm about to start again.
I need to reline 4 reels so what do you folk recommended.

Iv gone off Powerpro be careful theres some snide stuff out there, iv been using Berkley Whiplash 65lb its much smoother and better abrasion resistant.

nothing less than 18lb mono..... think mines berkly
if your into braid nothing better in my opinion than power pro 80lb for chucking big lures
just make sure it is power pro there are some crap copys out there .... ebay

I use fox braid (carp line) 40 lbs

I use power pro minimum of 50lb for deadbaiting and 60lb plhs for lures and like Stubbo said make sure its genuine

For mono I use 20lb Prologic XLNT and braid 40lb Power Pro

I'm going to buy 300mtrs of power pro 25kg and load up both reels.
I hope this power pro braid is far smoother than the braid I've used in the past.

I used Daiwa sensor mono for years, with no problems, started using whiplash last season for a change, both good.

I too use 18 lb Diawa sensor , never a problem . Each to their own I think , majority nowadays is good quality line . Berkeley braid too for me .

Wow, lots of really heavy braid, I must say I am now sold on braid, no stretch, I can actually feel a lure tail vibrate, never had that with mono, all my old fishing books quote 12-15 lb line, things change I guess.
