We had 2" of snow yesterday followed by shite loads of rain. I couldnt think of worse conditions and today was a bitterly cold North wind. Best day all year Shocked

weather should be better tomorrow temps are up 6-7 c and the winds down to around 10mph ... looks quiet choppy day out by looking at your photo .. what depths are you setting up your drifters pal , as in relation to your bait off the lake bed......... Very Happy

i always fish 2 drifters stubbo, one about a foot from the bottom, and one mid water. give them a choice Wink

what do you favour on your hooks for drifter , I like to use a small skimmer , then a roach , but have caught on a small joey mackerel at range , thick live baiting using this method is deadly , but I rarely use them these days....mostly dead's for me gone fishing

Nice day again. 6 jacks to 9lb an 11lb 14lb 17lb 10oz but more importantly missed / lost 10 more. Just one of those days and i have convinced myself they were all jacks Wink

Forecast for next week is a cold snap again. Minus 9 forecast at my venue, so I'll have to wait a bit longer. Somewhat unexpectedly going to be really busy at work within a week or two for at least 2 months, so I expect I'll start getting out on the boat early April.

Amazing fish that is Gary over the moon for you mate.well done to all catching.I fished my 2nd pike match today and I came 1st this time with a clonker at 25.14 I thought she was a new pb for a while
