steve has just phoned from the lake, (night checks,) and its still thawing he had'nt seen since yesterday and he thinks it a tad better. Exclamation
as for diving in to rescue the fish, Very Happy Smile thats sue's job, she's fell in a few times once in the middle of january
when we got her out she had a small roach in her pocket, she blew in its mouth to save it Rolling Eyes , and she and ste have both been in to help fish but in the summer. Exclamation Exclamation
I myself have fell in and its bloody cold.but have been in a few times on work parties, netting and other silly things a man has to do. Very Happy Very Happy

Sorry to say this But i've just been on the phone to Bas & Sue at Cellars and they told me the ice isn't shifting at all now Sad
Plus they have a frost forcast for tonight in Huddersfield !
so i'm calling it off Crying or Very sad

As for a new date What do you all think to sat 6th of feb ??

If Saturday is out then we will have to make it Sunday the 7th !!!

sorry guys but there's no way i can do this this now - my missus' car broke down today and it's gonna be an expensive job (gearbox) so i can't afford this trip now i'm afraid.

I will still be able to do the one Robh is organising though as its just down the road from me Cool

Really sorry guys - i'm gutted - really wanted to fish there. Mad
Heard that theres been a few out in the past week, especially to trout deads...shhhh lol!
