Re: Cellars fish-in
steve has just phoned from the lake, (night checks,) and its still thawing he had'nt seen since yesterday and he thinks it a tad better.
as for diving in to rescue the fish, thats sue's job, she's fell in a few times once in the middle of january
when we got her out she had a small roach in her pocket, she blew in its mouth to save it , and she and ste have both been in to help fish but in the summer.
I myself have fell in and its bloody cold.but have been in a few times on work parties, netting and other silly things a man has to do.
let you know tomorrow how its looking.

Heres some pics of the lake and mill pond frozen taken today and sent to me by Sue & Bas
Lake in at the inlet near the caravan starting to thaw
The middle of the lake which is still solid
And the mill pond which is still frozen solid
Its raining at Cellars today so lets hope it helps to clear the ice !!

Re: Cellars fish-in
sorry guys but there's no way i can do this this now - my missus' car broke down today and it's gonna be an expensive job (gearbox) so i can't afford this trip now i'm afraid.
I will still be able to do the one Robh is organising though as its just down the road from me
Really sorry guys - i'm gutted - really wanted to fish there.
Heard that theres been a few out in the past week, especially to trout deads...shhhh
Best of luck to those that are going...lucky sods
