I have the Shimano Alivio 2500 RB and am well pleased with it.
SHIMANO HYPERLOOP 1000RB Alivio_rb.image.-familyImage-Single-image.dash.512.384
It is a little bigger than a 1000 sized reel but if you really want to go for that size, one is available. It comes with an aluminium spool as standard so you can put braid on if you want. I bought a spare spool for mine so I got one spool with 6lb mono for normal coarse fishing and the other spool has 10lb power pro braid on it for when I go spinning with smaller lures to target perch.

Here is the link to Shimano's webpage for the Alivio reels:
http://fish.shimano-eu.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/nl/index/products_new/reels/rear_drag/alivio_rb.html

BTW, the price isn't a great deal more than the Hyperloop. Very Happy

The larger the number, the larger the spool capacity, generally.. Smile

From here:

£7.69 inc. VAT and delivery. I bought my reel from his Ebay shop and have bought a spare spool from his online shop (above).

Make sure you select the correct reel from the drop down list.

Scrumpy is a potent form of cider made down in the South West of England. If I remember rightly the name came from a type of apple that was originally used to make it. study

I personally don't touch the stuff as any cider, no matter how small a quantity makes me throw up. The most cider I've managed is half a pint before running to the toilet Shocked

I've always been a beer drinker and whisky is a nice tipple. drunken but I have to totally leave alcohol alone due to my health now Crying or Very sad

Glad you like it Alex. I have the 4000RB too. I use that for heavier lures and for the odd bit of stalking too.
