well i was picken up at 7am on friday by busternut and we was soon on our way to selby we arived about 30mins later had a walk round and there was nobody on so we fished where we saw fish. I was in the brick swim 20 mins later the pike rods where out Wink

but nothing much happened at all with them so decided to swap back to carp just so i could relax alittle and enjoy the evening i decide on 1 bottom bait and 1 on the chod about 4am i was awakone to a few bleeps but nothing came of it i was pinned on the bottom aswell so i was on a mission for some live baits i pulled the carp gear in and changed back over to pike.me and jason spent a little while catchimg some livebaits once we had a few in the bucket it was time to play the rod was out free roaming bait must have been a good 2hrs a few live bait changes later when i finaly managed to land 1

well the livebait bucket started looking empty so i grabbed the float rod 3lb line size 18 hook i had caught a couple of livebaits then i conected to a nice little perch then bang out of nowhere i was hit hard harder than ive ever been hit before me and jason looked in amazement at seeing the pike nail the perch on the way up my first thought was ohno lol i automaticaly thought i had been snapped the pike moved and the rod bent in half with the lunge of the fish my ar5e was nipping now 3lb line and size 18 hook jason couldnt belive it neither could i truth be told after a few mad minuites jason slipped the net under it i was buzzing

it wasnt long and it was all quiet so after the mad little run dcided to try for the carp again it was all verry quiet so me and jason had a natter about thenew water where going to 220 acres big carp and pike. any ways the night was drawing in so called it anite yet again a couple of bleeps but nothing come of it it was soon time to go home and for any 1 intrested u dont after be off early now hes only doing matches in winter so the balif said
