how many rods do you use

Just wondering how many deadbait rods people use on the bank as the norm seems to be two. ?

If it's a drain 2. If it's a lake with enough space 3. And tbh on the big Scottish lochs 4. Only thing about this side of hadrians wall is the rod licence and to use 3 rods you need 2 licences. Ta ta £56.
Obviously if the action picks up 4 rods is not practical so you fish with what you can. Had a few good sessions where couldn't get 3 in at the same time but others where I've fished all 4 for 1 fish. Wee bit o common sense I suppose.

I use 3, plus my lure rod. If ive got to buy two licences to fish with 3 i may aswell use 4

ive got a few 3 rod settups but in summer nowadays i just go stalking with one as that suits the waters/plus time i have spare....

Four most of the time. Two if am river fishing.

3 but I always carry a 4th just in case it's needed or I fancy something diffferent to try.

i always use two, but carry a 3rd which is set up differently. that way you dont have to fanny about changing stuff over all the time. apart from that, ive only got one license which as you all know, covers you for two rods only. i,m too tight to pay another fee !!

on my main water 4 or 5 and smaller waters 2 or 3

The maximum the venue allows,in this neck of the woods it"s 2 or 3 and occasionaly 4.

I use two and I take a lure rod along that is always set up but only used when one of the others is out of the water.
