stubbo i prefer a small livebait and fish them on a john roberts paternoster boom this method has worked everywhere for me, i just stick with that and keep it as simple as possible mate

cheers pal got me eye on a water where i know there are big perch there but not really fished for

hi stubbo if you target the perch i would personally approach it with a small livebait on 1 rodif you ledger the livebait try a big maggot feeder instead of a lead,and floatfished lobworms on second rod and keep feeding red maggots around both this works a treat for me.hope this is of any help to you mate
