Shaun will confirm but these are 2 of the 3 20s he had ( btw the user name couldn't be more wrong Shaun with a session like that)
Also there's the one I had last week , an ounce under 15. Different venues I hasten to add.........as far as I'm aware anyway 😀😀😀😀

Well done guys and Ladies, great fish. I broke my run of luck today too with a lovely double 12lb 14oz. i stupidly took a friend to one of my select swims lol. and he promptly caught a 26lb 10oz and as we were resting her in the net his other rod went and he had to hand land a 20lb 4oz, what a brace of fish in 3 minutes!!!!!!
Re: Anybody Catching
Bloody hell, what a cracking brace that is, has he dried off yet after you pushed him in

Re: Anybody Catching
Thanks very much lads, I loved the photo too this lough has given me personally 4 braces of 20s and can be fantastic. but i have also done 5 blanks on a row on it. when they are having it its easy fishing lol. we just have to go through all the hard times too:D The pike are nomadic as the lough is 50ft+ nearly everywhere and the pike seem to stick in their relevant size class. if your first fish is a jack your nearly guaranteed jacks all day, if the first is a whopper theres usually another close by.

I think a lot of anglers are struggling at the moment, apart from the last few days, its been warm.preyfish haven't moved into their winter quarters and so neither have the pike.it needs a few weeks of constant cold for them to move but I don't think we,ll get it.fish don't know what to do!

Re: Anybody Catching
me thinks the fish could turn up anywhere , seen 2 pike strike at the prey fish in the shallow bays in 2 ft of water , to me that proves there not all shoaled up in the deeper areas , and the pike are more spread out over the venue. going to have a good mill around tomorrow try to locate some fish or stucture / drop offs with bait fish on them.the bat wrote:I think a lot of anglers are struggling at the moment, apart from the last few days, its been warm.preyfish haven't moved into their winter quarters and so neither have the pike.it needs a few weeks of constant cold for them to move but I don't think we,ll get it.fish don't know what to do!

Re: Anybody Catching
Managed to get my first double of the season today at 14.10lb they were there I had 3 very shy bites they started going then just dropped it 😯 so I took my treble hook rig off and put a 2 single hook rig on same as treble hook rig but with single hooks instead after 10 minutes or so it was off again but this time it didn't drop it and this is the result a nice and very welcome pike
That was it for today but i am happy with the one plus it was a lovely day
