Hello
Hello there, i have been visiting this site for a few weeks now and have decided to join up as i feel it is the most friendly forum i have come accross and alot on here seem to be fairly local to me.(Hull)
I have been pike fishing for about 3 seasons with a 19lb 6 oz pb (landed a 27lb 4oz on my mate's rod whilst he was into a 14 , but i can't count that one - can i ? ).
Time to fish is at a premium for me as i am a new father so would like to ask if anyone has any info/tips on boat fishing at Hornsea Mere as we have decided to give it a go accross christmas.Pm me if you don't want to give too much away.
Thanks in advance.

just saying hi
hi guys just saying hi to ya all- nice little forum for likeminded anglers- i see that a lot of you are from up norf im a southern softie any more guys from dahn sarf???
been fishing for over thirty years most of them have been in pursuit of specimen fish
carp tench crucian roach barbel in the summer and pike perch chub grayling in the winter and what ever comes along at the right oppurtunity- i have caught many big fish but one still eludes me and that is the 30lb pike i have got close a few times but still havent succeeded i have found myself dedicating more and more time to this elusive fish i know there is one out there somewhere with my name on it!
i fish many different waters from small backstreams and farm ponds to gravel pits and reservoirs that cover hundreds of acres and have recently been spending time on englands largest water, the thames, the pike fishing is excellent a brace of twenties in a day is not uncommon!!!
still thats enough about me i shall look forward to sharing experiences and knowlege with you all in the future

Lots of new people... I've not been in much of late but I'll be in more often again. I've just been doing the laid back post Xmas/New Year watching TV thing. Looking forward to input from all the oldies (well....as old as we can be for a newish forum) and the newbies.
