Re: Multi-catches
Everyone is saying the Pike are back on the feed but my experience is it's still hard going!
I think it's all weather related?
We had the sub-zero temperatures and it warmed up slightly but its taken another dip again. I think we need a consistent temperature for a couple of weeks before we start seeing some multi-catches coming out.

dont forget pike are one fish that spawn very early and they go off boil when the time is right that rise in temp might have triggered a reactionnightwatchman wrote:Everyone is saying the Pike are back on the feed but my experience is it's still hard going!

Not something i've really considered, but i guess it would make sense Rob/Stubbo, after all the temperature/weather is hardly ever the same country-wide and some variations should be expected.
Feb does seem a tad early thoough either way - but i may well be wrong...

On BBC Radio Nottingham today, the nature bloke was saying the Snowdrops are late this year, its the hard Winter etc... & Global Warming
The Pike Spawned in March here last year, again, it was a colder than normal Winter
