cheap gear in york

eddiewillow live in york lure angler recently joined member.
just wondered if anybody as been in boyes store goodramgate york.
i went in looking for dayglow orange spray paint for my lure building.
i was very impressed at there fishin tackle prices didnt think it was sold in there.£14.99
abu spinning rods they had rods for course and sea anglers got 10 soft plastic lures for
£4 worth a looksie.

its ok gear for the price - i actually got a half decent fly reel from there for £15 and a really useful Abu stalking bag for my summer river roving (think i may have even put a review on here - can't remember...)

mind you there is some c**p too...lol

I was in Boyes in York last month. Bought 4oz leads for 50p each. The Range in Doncaster has exactly the same gear. The name Fladen cropped up a lot.
