Anybody Catching

tried a savage eel yesterday had a fish about 6lb it fell off before i could take a photo the eel from savage was the biggist in the range was quite surprized to get a hit first cast had 2 other hits on it but came off liking them already might try a stinger hook at the back next time anyone tried them yet.........

Went to a local lake tday with Kell I only had the one fish a small jack but better than a blank:).
Kell had four fish three of which were doubles to 17lb 3oz , ill let him post the pics I don't know how to do it from my phone .
Great day though despite just the one

been out today 3 jacks but lost double at the net all on mackeral tails oil injected all caught at range.........

only a pound less than my pb caught on red mullet 13lb 10oz

Red mullet, first time I've used it had two other rods out with mackerel and not a sniff

sorry pal you have said what it was caught on above your pic just spotted it now just shows you it worth changing baits and using some thing a bit different its worked and you have caught a good fish well done pal .Something i do is recast say every fifteen minutes to a new area say a yard or 2 either way and inject with some oil just to keep a bit of a scent trail going think it makes a difference on a slow day

Had my first outing for a while yesterday morning on a yorkshire river. Nailed this 19lb 4oz pike on smelt, very happy start to 2013....

After 8 blanks the wait was over. 19lb 1oz
