28th is good for me.
Not sure about the 7th yet as I don't get my shift rosters for the following month until the week before. FFS!
But in theory if they don't f**k about with it I could be OK for it.

Re: Barton, Lincs Fish-in
might be worth seeing if we can exclusively book 1 of them to ourselves? Maybe Pond 2 is best for that?
What do you think? Don't know if its possible to do this with the farmer etc as i've never tried before.

its looking more and more like the 7th of march at the minute mate (damn car tax cuss cuss)
i dont know the postcode or exact address except that you follow hempholme lane until you get to the t-junction right at the top and turn left onto mill lane (which runs right from brandesburton if thats easier), follow that until you get to a left turn signposted "baswick landing"..... the ponds are either side of the road leading off the turn on the left of the road (no.1 pond is just before the junction with no.2 and no.3 pond just after the junction).
i'll probably organise to meet in the car park just inbetween the shops and the pub on west street, leven then drive up from there to make sure no one gets lost trying to find the place

I can't find anything about day tickets on the hull fisheries Rob are you sure you can get them ????
Re: Barton, Lincs Fish-in
Sure thing adie.
It's £3 a day for up to 3 rods and you pay on the bank when the farmer comes round.

Think I might be ok for the 7th now Rob.
Question....................
So how do you normally choose pegs on these fish-ins?
1st come 1st served or numbers out of a hat?
Just wondered with 3 ponds to go at?

you wont find anything about day tickets on the links you previously posted... they're not the same ponds mate..... hdaa do not own these ones and as far as i am aware they're not mentioned anywhere on the internet.
i can confirm from what nightwatchman said that it IS £3 on the bank when the farmer comes round.
in answer to your question nightwatchman i think we'll just pick our own pegs on the day..... although i do have a few "favourites"
