best winter suit

OK guys i need a nice winter suit to keep me warm has ive only goy my miami shorts vest and flip flops to wear on the side of the bank lol.i need a good suit to keep me warm and dry without spending the earth ,what do you all use please??

sudridge all in one you can wear a tea shirt under it in - temps awsome

I go for the layered approach.

Majority of my stuff is army surplus from Ebay, except for the ski trousers from Matalan

Long john top, Norgie top, wool (or fleece) jumper, fleece jacket and a goretex coat for the top half.

Lower down I wear long john leggings, the ski trousers, two pairs of thermal socks and Regatta waterproof hiking boots.

If it's REALLY cold I also wear a 2 piece quilted undersuit. This lot may sound bulky but it isn't too bad really. I can regulate my temps by removing or adding a layer as and when required and stay warm, comfortable and dry all day long

Buy the best you can afford mate Its one thing not to skimp on as you can't enjoy your piking if you are cold
Go to a few tackle shops and try some suits on try both 2 piece and one piece !

Don't buy a cheap one as you will regret it

hi there mate just bought the new suit from whchwood its the solace 2 piece best one ever mate ive had 100 percnt water proof got it from staply angling 20 percent off

A word of warning: If you go for a one piece suit, make sure it has a 2 way full length zip in order to make toilet breaks easier.

Two piece suits are obviously easier if you go for a No.2
