ive been out with rozzo today on a rez near me..started of the day with a cracking 19.4lb i lost a fish recast and it took again straight away it came to a dead roach which were supposed to be for piketastick lol..been out a few times now dont think ive blanked yet.ill get pics up when mrs comes home in a short while.just wish julian had caught today with travelling down to fish.i tried give him a run but he wouldnt take it..been a top day ju thanks for comming pal.

Nice one Jacob , that's another one you owe me 👍. Top fish that today mate. Julian's turn will come, it's a matter of time and anyway he had 2 last Sunday while watching me blank 😀😀😀. I forgot to say there's a few lads coming over there on Saturday mate from Derbyshire PAC.... I think most of them are on the boats, Some good anglers, it will be interesting to see what comes out.
Hope that back gets better Julian, A bad back is a killer.

Mind you it was -12 degrees and only three turned up me and two that were running it
Mad bad and nickcarpy as you can imagine the river was frozen solid so bad you could have driven the car on it

was a brilliant day today and when Jake struck the fish and said "this feels like a good un" i said "you will know if it's a good un once it sees the ledge" it saw the ledge and bore deep and took line off the clutch,, then the second time the same despite being really close to the net. on the third attempt it went again this time straight through jakes other rod. i told him "i am not going to try and lunge for it with the net cos i wouldn't forgive myself if i bumped it off" True angler that jake is he guided it straight over the net on the fourth go and she was his. well done Jacob an ace day!!

I had to cancel my trip Scotland because of babysitting duties, so we had a day in the lakes instead - we caught 7 pike
biggest 10.5. Pleased I am catching a few fish but nothing big.

I have rearranged my Scotland trip now for Tuesday week after that back in Yorkshire THEN week after that .....

All the Derbyshire lads are  on boats, all wronguns and cant catch  a cold. especially me as you know mate. We have a local lad with us also, he might have a fish or two as he knows it. Looking forward to this always nice to try a new water, give me a wave if you manage to get on saturday

Pike are still well spread out on local ,sailing club and lady of the lake areas producing.best bet would be to catch lives.not much been coming out to deads or lures.

Best not to name waters on here.

I won't be there Shaun, I'm going out on the rivers tomorrow. Good luck everyone this weekend.

Just had 2 days on two different venues, Day one 7 takes and landed just one and that was a measly 7lb, day two and only 2 takes but resulted in a cracking 21lb 9oz beauty. the first of the season so a special fish for sure. Huge huge venues 4000acres plus are hard fished as the Pike could be anywhere, but when the rod goes its usually a lump Photos later when my mate sends them to me lol

was out yesterday had 4 and lost 1 2 on roach 2 on sardines loving this season already was a lot colder down hear yesterday
