Pike fishing

Hi guys. Im new to the forum and have joined in the hope of getting some good advice from some fellow pike anglers on here. I live in the West Lothian area and have recently bought a pike fishing set-up. Im looking for some ideas on where to go and get started again, i dont mind travelling? I have a deadbait set-up. The central belt is largely devoid of quality pike fishing outside of a few syndicates and waters you aren't allowed to fish (like Linlithgow loch - someone actually took the angling association there to court to get pike fishing rights and failed).

Head north, but go a good way north to avoid the numpties and eastern Europeans. I can't really be specific unfortunately.
