It as two lithium batteries but I have never measured how far it can go. I think the longest walk I do is about a mile and will do there and back
on one battery easy.

Re: Anybody Catching part two
I managed a sneaks session today between storms. i wasnt expecting much as we had hard frosts and 2 inches of snow yesterday. I couldnt have been more wrong lol. First rod in the water and i had an 11lb in the net, great start. closely followed by a 4lb jack. Then the fun began when my float legered smelt slid away, shortly to see me netting a stunner of 27lb 8oz. My self take camera wouldnt work so I took a quick crappy photo on my phone. Fish released and all good. 10 minutes later my float legered mackerel tail slipped away, BANG exactly the same fish Some wont count it as a brace but I surely will, 2 fish for 55lb NICE. I ended up with 9 fish, 4 being low doubles.

Re: Anybody Catching part two
Lovely day Andy with excellent pike as well mate well done
Sorry I've not posted for a while I haven't had much to say really
I have been out 5 time's and had 5 blanks But one of the reasons why is I can only walk a very short distance now without being in a LOT of pain with both my left knee and after having a MRI on my back they have found out why my back is giving me so much pain which is going right down my left thigh front and back down to my knee It can be ok when I am sat down but as soon as I stand it starts and gets worse until its unbearable after just a few short minutes and I have to sit down or about 10 yards So I can only go with someone else and have to go where I can park right behind me :-( Which is very restricting ! I'm not sure how I wound cope if I caught one like the one's Andy has been catching lol
I did get a call from the Hospital to say they had a cancelation and would I like to take this date the 28th of February for my full left knee replacement YES YES YES I said lol so they arranged a pre op for me to go to at Bassetlaw Hospital which is about 14 miles from me anyway on the day I got there they did my blood pressure took a wee sample checked my heart and everything else they had to check and asked me loads of questions and told me how I would have to cover myself in this cream they gave me from head to toe every day for five days before going in plus a tube of some kind of jel that I had to rub up my nose as well and isolate for ten days plus change our bed sheets every night for at least 5 nights before going in ! Then I had to see another staff nurse who said most of it again and got round to isolating then told me that I had to stay clear of anyone who has had contact with anyone that has had Covid Bearing in mind that this is the first time anyone who I have spoken to about this Op has not said anything about Covid and that includes 3 phone calls before I even got to the hospital
Well I have had Covid and had my first negative test a week before they first rang me ! So I told her I had had it but it was over two weeks now since my negative test and thats when she said oh dear I will have to ring the surgeon who is doing the operation :-( and he said I would have to wait at least 7 weeks before they would do the op I was bloody pissed off well and truly :-( Why couldn't they have asked about Covid when they first rang :-( So now I have to wait for either another cancelation or wait in the waiting list which is at least 18 weeks at the moment but could be longer due to the backlog due to Covid So I am a little bit depressed at the moment :-( I can hardly bare weight on my knee now so god knows how bad it will be by the time I get another date for the op :-( Its getting worse all the time now due to bone growth in the joint
Sorry for this rant chaps but thought you might want to be bored for a while reading my crap

Oh mate, you are getting messed around big style. They have to play by the rules but when someone's in pain they should sort it ASAP. Just look forward to your new life when it's all over. No stopping you next season
Re: Anybody Catching part two
That as to be the biggest pike of the season well done.
I am very sorry to hear of all your problems I do hope they get you another date soon.

First of March the season is fast coming to a end. I have not been out for two weeks but off out tomorrow.
I can't decide where to go but I know am going to get wet.

I went today Psion, foggy frosty start, then a scorching afternoon. I caught my first tattered jack, and my first spawned out fish too. theyve started for sure. 13 fish landed, 8 being doubles with the best ones 16lb 17lb 2oz 19lb 4oz and a lovely fat 21lb 1oz. missed plenty too. trout time now I think.

Re: Anybody Catching part two
On my Scotland trip I had 22 pike, 15 jacks, 5 Low doubles and 2 x 29 pounders. Notice in the pictures that they are the same fish
caught two days apart .
It's a strange thing repeat catches, catching the same fish the next day seems to diminish the success in some way.
Anyway, that brings the total to 9 fish over the twenty pound mark for season with two more trips to go
