no fish

3 today for me a 8lb 7lb and 3lber must be the new moon

gonna try for a few tomoz

Travelled out yesterday most of the rivers in flood at the moment, and others they seem to have opened the gates and are very low in water and pulling off too much to fish, ended up on the local canal in an area that had no ice; and again fished after darkness fell and for the sixth time running BLANKED. Dont know what to try next???

cheers lads was a good day for it one of my fishing buddys called to say he had a 27 in his pike tube and would i drive over and photo it for him sadly i was miles away fishing in the end a school kid who was knocking off school took the pics for him and charged him a few quid the jammy git

went out for a few hours down the canal managed 1 jack on sprats

rivers still up at the moment so mite go to a res and try for a big un

well guys went out today to a new area of a local venue. had a jack within 10 mins and thought oh yes could be in for a good day . 6 hours later and without so much as another bleep, i went home
glad to get a fish at last, been 6 weeks now.

atleast ya got one though MadBad well worth it mate! thell turn on soon!

Went for a 3 hour lure session on a local canal. Blanked again

Didn't like what I saw when I got there. Most of the bankside vegetation has been chopped away and ALL of the trees that were there last time I went were just stumps!

Why do it? Totally ruined the place and I for one am not happy about it.

dont get down about it Lefty just look at the fen drains miles ov nothing to fish-to
but sum ov the best fish come form them just stick at it mate!

If it is the same canal, then yes I was after a nice perch yesterday. Thought it would be an ideal place as they have been caught from this stretch before.

ended up with a jack of 6lb 13oz

Well it was my birthday today (48) and guess what I wanted to do?
Yep go fishing!

All the ponds/lakes are still frozen round my way so a trip to the river was needed.
I very rarely fish the river Hull so I'm still a bit of a novice but after a few pointers off Rob (cheers mate ) I decided to have a crack at it.

I caught my first river Pike!
Only 6lb 10oz but nice all the same.
It was the only run and only fish of the day but considering I hadn't caught anything for a while I was happy.
