Re: Anybody Catching
set off at 5 this morning 50 mile drive with my mate Darren, quite mild in Sheffield but a frost was waiting for us at the venue. The roach started topping around 7 am, we had to catch then , I thought, sure enough, his rod ripped off close in with a smelt. He landed a 14lb 12 oz beauty, 5 mins later, I had a scraper double on a sardine, all before 7.30, 5 minutes later , phone call from our lass , my little girl ill, not going to school. so im back home by 10 oclock. I fished around an hour:D last year at 1 stage I blanked 13 times on the trot...... right place right time springs to mind............................PS im saving my 99 and 100 posts for something special next week:D so until then .........tight lines:D

Was out yesterday on a local still water and didn't have a sniff. First blank of the season, sure there will be a few more before March.

Re: Anybody Catching
Fished part of the Thames today, never even saw a fish let alone caught one despite trying deads as well as lures.
