nothing wrong with our methods some days it just does not work no matter what we do , I am one of those guys that does not sit still when I am pike fishing , I try to make something happen , change baits , move bait , inject baits and most of the time I will give the pike a choice of different bait fish , December for me can be the slow month I have found over the years , don't know if you have found this to be the case in your neck of the woods

It always is slow over here. the bait fish are tight together and on the huge waters you can be miles from fish not meters lol. Just remember its not long until February when the big girls feed hard a few more blanks to come I am sure lol. back out again tomorrow, I must be a glutton for punishment, and its a new water for me too. Only a little over 1000acres so it should be fun:D

hard luck mate , I,m on a run of 6 blanks now , gettin a bit frustrated I might even buy some maggots and go grayling fishing just to see what it feels like to catch a fish

Had 3 fish,biggest 10lb,my mate had 3 too,biggest 14lb

not so far this winter Steve, with it being mild I think the carpers have still been on there in big numbers , but it,s a possibility for either this sat or next tuesday coz I,m back in work the day after ,

Fished a new water for the first time last weekend,managed a small jack of around 4lb.Weather was terrible and thought i was going to blank but the sight of the float dissapearing was superb!Spoke to a guy on the water who said last year was excellant fishing but this year the water has been quiet ,even for the trout in it.

3rd blank on the trot. i dont like this at all

got over my run of blanks today , trouble is it was,nt with pike , I went trotting on a local river and had a few grayling ,chub , brownies and a bonus seatrout of about a pound, back on the pike search on tuesday

I thought I may get down for a few hours to see you guys but at the moment I have no time to fish for a day.

Been there today to see my son who was fishing with his girlfriend,two foreigners on jetty,8 rods,no unhooking mat,dropping fish on the stage.had to tell em to get a fish back in water as they'd had it out for so long😒

It was a jack,they were catching lives.ray did go to em but don't think he bollocked em.they were taking pics,putting fish on jetty,other one picking up,having photo taken,etc.we shouted to em to get it back in water,one of em shouted back"you don't need to tell us"ray should have charged em for the rods at least.E A were informed but no one turned up😐

Hope you all got what you wanted for Xmas - sorry for the delay in getting this sorted, but just managed to send Adie a couple of pictures from Shaun, Nopikehere, great day a couple of weeks ago. Shaun will confirm but these are 2 of the 3 20s he had ( btw the user name couldn't be more wrong Shaun with a session like that)
Also there's the one I had last week , an ounce under 15.  Different venues I hasten to add.........as far as I'm aware anyway 😀😀😀😀
