went out today and managed 1 of about 6lb, not bad as was the first pike i have had from this venue Very Happy

Well what a great 4 hrs. Only 1 banked fish of 9lb but caught on old school trotting methods with the centrepin and handmade pike bobber. Hell of a scrap on the 'pin.

Unfortunately i lost 2 others. 1 was a very good double (dare i say it pushing a 20 - big bertha lol) and the other about 4 lb. The pike are definately 'on it' near me now with nearly everyone else local i know fishing for pike today catching / getting takes in numbers.

Can't wait to sucessfully get big bertha on the bank using this method...getting closer everytime now...

i went yesterday late afternoon till late evening i managed 4 pike nothing big , all between 6lb to 9lb was more interested in the evening part of the session as i was after zander managed one which i dropped well you can,t what you want all the time so i,ll have to try during the week to get my zander fix Smile
