Re: Anybody Catching
it was certainly a great day and ryan and mitch made the most of there short time there and were very impressed with the fishing i have virtually on my door step and they will return as soon as they can .
it was good that we all had action and landed pike ,as that made the day even better and there was a couple of chances sadly missed that could have put something special on the bank
in total i think we hadmjust over 20 takes between us and 13 pike were banked with ryan having the best of the day ,on a day where i thought we were going to struggle (what do i know eh!!! )
i have to say those pics have come out well and well done to you both also thank you for the sausage and bacon sarnies they were ace !!
me with a lure rod O M G
i thoroughly enjoyed the day you the day with you both

Re: Anybody Catching
again i agree, but ive had 3 x 17+ on lives, its horses for courses on my lake mate, but ive only ever had fish to 9lb on spinners/lures.
i covered teh whole lake this time around and still bugger all LOL...
i know though "the pet" was caught 2 weeks ago twice, by my mate @ 19lb and 19.3lb, the last time i had her was 18.5lb so i know shes going in the right direction.

Just like to say a big thanks to the Fenland Machine, AKA Kev for a brilliant day on Sunday. The only bad point was leaving as I really didn't want to go. Thanks again for sharing your Fenland wisdom and we''ll see you in a fortnight. Cheers Rich (not Mitch, don't know who he is)
