Anybody Catching

,Finally, had the chance to fish this weekend,, and with my 2 children on board.. 16, to 21,, and good keen anglers they are to... we started off at, 3,30am this morning, 3hr drive,, We arrive all sqaure eyed , ready for a good days fishing.. weather was kind to us, a south westly wind, mild showing plus 10... after a slow early morning, young piker (16), had the first fish... 8lb... He was landed, he finally broke this lake duck... and soon piker (21) had a fish on the bank, 11lb 8oz... things were looking grim for Welsh piker snr. , and they got a whole lot worse, 2 runs were lost, .. and to rub salt in my wound, piker (21), he lands a nice 16lb 4oz... the grin on his face, will stay with me for ever. . .. So all in all, a good day for the Young-ones.... , but w.piker will have his day again.....

What a blanker I am. 1 run on a big live and missed the bottom treble by mm's ! Could see by the rip it was a jack but I ain't had a fish in 9 outings now lol

Need to remember to put some hooks on or something lol.

Bite indication isn't a problem got that one covered . Just don't seem to be getting any bites this season ! Lol worst year yet

sods law mate the same here when i took are kid with me on 2 trips out he had 2 twentys on my gear and i had a 8lb fish bigginers luck or what

Had 5 pike so far today and 3 missed runs and another hour to go
No big uns though best 11lb 3oz

The pike gods weren't looking down on me today lol just one for me around 5 or 6lb can't grumble though after the ones i had out on monday

I didn't get a monster at this pit I went to but got a little jack in the good laugh just hope it's better next time
