We had 11 pike today - all jacks - in what you would call challenging conditions.

It`s great to read of the great sport you are all having and some great pics too. I`m still struggling, despite five sessions out, I have yet to get a run even though the five lakes I fish are reported, by the matchmen, to be "full of bloody pike". Desperate now to find another venue but they are far and few between in this area.

Re: Anybody Catching
match anglers need someone or something to blame for their lack of bits catching skill. Pike are nearly always the scapegoat. Are you far from Frisby ? I will be there next weekend if you can get out, cant guarantee a pike but there is always the chance.

Thanks Matt, Frisby is about an hours drive. Can't say I've heard of that place, have you fished there before?

I fished it a couple of times a few years ago and had a cracking Zander out and a couple of smaller pike. If you can get along then that would be cool.
