Re: Anybody Catching
This 12.5lb pike is the biggest on 13 pike we caught on a trip to Scotland. We were plagued by jack pike missing loads of runs because they were to small to hook.

Did dawn til dusk today , with fish fork ( Tim ) and my uncle . Tim had a new pb of 15.4 oz . I had a jack and a 16 ...... 76 year old uncle Tony , whooped my ass again with a 18.2 and a gorgeous 15.4 . We missed 4 or 5 runs between us as well . That's me done for a fortnight . Gutted !

Re: Anybody Catching
Glad to see everyones catching. ive had one pike all year. the big bonus was it was the first time id taken my dad and son and they r both hooked now.we had a really slow day this weekend and blanked but theres always next time.
rather disappoiting that the lochside was an absolute disgrace . there was braid everywhere and lots of empty plastic bait packets. that was a job for my loon while we waited (in vain ) for a run. we cleaned the spot up nice for next time!

Re: Anybody Catching
Had my first outing of the season today and drew a nice big fat blank
But my mate managed one of around 10lb ish his first of the season so not a complete loss I don't mind as long as one of us catch
It is still a bit early to be honest but now looking forward to our next outing
This is the pike my mate George had

Nice fish adie , it's got the same colouring as Tony's second fish in the pics above, I always think it's nice to catch one , but I still get a buzz when one of the lads pull one out as well.

Re: Anybody Catching
Some great photos in the last week or two. really getting my juices going.
I'm off to the old tackle shop today for some bits and pieces, then back on the bank for my first session on Friday....all being well. Cant wait.

Got the season off to a flyer with this one. Can't say much about it I'm afraid, you know how it is, but I started a little early this year.
