Re: Anybody Catching
sounds daft but catching your first 20 is the hardest , or at least it feels that way ,, then the 20s just kept comingpiketastic wrote:Unlucky Jake pal, I know you lost a couple of good uns , but at least you know they are there, you can be sure you will have one of em out soon . Adie , " yet another 20 " ? I've had 5 now ever . In 40 years of piking . Thank you though mate .
that was the case for me anyway ...........but not of late I add...... well in pal

sorry pal thought you fished it on the bottom layed on type of method ....give it a go can be a deadlyleondodd wrote:Hi all, no weight under the float until the bait goes on, as different baits require different weights,I usually fish this a couple of foot off the bottom with lives or deads as the leger rig is on the bottom and I like to have baits at different depths unless one starts producing more than the other then I can swap them to both fish the same

Perfect this morning on the Trent , a few roach topping , nice ripple on the water , baits in and around all the likely haunts, and a bring back down to earth with a blank . I did lose one though , but that's 2 lost in a row . Roll on next week , for another go at them !!
