Anybody Catching

went out today just to have a play with the fish finder for a few hours....


but ended up chucking out a couple of mackerel tails out in 20 ft water with a massive bait cloud on a feature

well chuffed with the finder and the big girl

sorry about the photo quality but needed to get the fish back as I had a awkward hook up took a bit of work getting trebles out


should have gone ashore to get a better picture as this one does not do it any justice

but the fishes welfare is paramount .......well in [img][/img]

unfortunately I was on my own on the boat and really was not prepared , I was playing around with the new fish finder ,raymarine dragonfly so I was faffing around with that

as I was anchored and had other rods out , thought it was best to return the fish quickly as it had been out of the water for to long .

so I weighed it in the net and took a few snaps but they never turned out very well to be honest , from the photos you cant get the scale of it

hopefully I could catch it again and get some proper photos .........just thought at the time it was better for the fish to return,... it was all a bit hectic to tell the truth.

thanks adie never gave it a thought at the time....... just for the fish pal.. its only a pic with my face in it will be more geared up next time .......how many times have we said that lol

fished a british pike finals qualifier on sunday and qualified with a single fish,,,, yeeesssss get in

Hi all, managed a couple of small ones yesterday, (Sunday), biggest about 9lb, my luck strikes again though, fished one peg down from my uncle who only had 1 but, it was 18lb 14 oz! My time will come, at least I'm catching some 😃

Well done to all who are getting out and catching. There seems to be a lot more bigger fish coming out this season.

Was out yesterday, had an 8lb jack and then this very welcome lady 17lb 10oz,
although Stubbos monster could have had them for breakfast lol
