never had any action there
but ma mates had a nice 13lber at the railway end
on half makrel tail just under the rod tip

ive had a few from oaklands nice little puddle a bit too busy for me now though

thats just what i was thinking about the place
nice fish though that deadbait

Best days to go are mid week its not half as busy
And the fish are not as wary from having the banks full of fisherman

fished last week and had 3 nice fish, the 2 pictured and my profile pic, all taken on drifted smelt deadbaits, unfotunatly i had no scales, so guesses of around 9lb-15lb and my brother in law had 2 around 5-6lb, will be going again this weekend for sure

thanks guys, this is my first season piking, not done any fishing for 3 years so having lots of fun so far, i've had 3 trips and caught 8 with 4 getting on for double figures, i'm hooked

Well done Andy, i was out all day yesterday and blanked i had to cancell my trip to Ireland with Mr Fickling due to work but hopefully i will get there in 3 weeks time, just had a recky to a place i am going to on Wednesday and helped a guy land a 24lber so lets hope they are still feeding on Wednesday, if any one can make it you are more than welcome to come along with me.

went out to try a venue i had never fished before today........ had 4 good runs and a few jacks so it looks like a promising place.

here's the biggest one, went about 6lb i think (never weighed it lol)
